What is Cash Now, More Later exactly?
Your client can get paid twice, and you keep the listing. How it flows:
- First close. Opendoor buys the home. Your client unlocks their equity in cash up front and is free to move. You get your first payment, from Opendoor: a bonus of 1% to 2% of the purchase price (the rate depends on how many deals you've closed with us that year).
- We renovate. Opendoor funds and manages the repairs. Nothing for you or your client to do or pay.
- You relist. The renovated home goes back on the market with you as the listing agent.
- Second payment. When it sells, your client receives all the profits after fees and costs. You get your second payment: the full listing commission on the resale transaction, the same way you would on any listing. Full details are in the program agreement.
