How do I reset my password or log into my account?
If you're locked out or can't remember your password, you can reset it in just a few steps.
Reset your password
- Go to opendoor.com and click "Sign In" in the top right corner.
- Click "Forgot password?" below the password field.
- Enter the email address associated with your Opendoor account.
- Check your email for a password reset link. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
- Click the link in the email and create a new password.
Your new password should be something secure that you haven't used before.
Magic link login
Some Opendoor accounts use a magic link instead of a password. If your account is set up this way, simply enter your email on the sign-in page and check your inbox for a sign-in link. Click that link to log in directly — no password needed.
Not sure which email you used?
Try the email addresses you may have entered when you first requested an offer or scheduled a tour. That's typically the email tied to your account.
Tip: If you have multiple email addresses, try each one on the "Forgot password?" page. You'll receive a reset link only at the email that matches an existing account.
