How do I update my phone number or account info?

If your phone number, email address, or other details have changed, here's how to update them.

Update your info online

  1. Log into your account at opendoor.com.
  2. Go to your account settings or profile page. You can find this by clicking on your name or profile icon in the top right corner.
  3. Edit the fields you need to change, such as your phone number, name, or email address.
  4. Save your changes.

Some account details can be updated directly through your profile. If you don't see an option to change a specific field, it may need to be updated by the support team.

Need help making a change?

If the update you need isn't available through self-service, contact Opendoor Support and they can make the change on your end:

Have your full name and the property address associated with your account ready so the team can locate your account quickly.

Important notes

  • If you change your email address, make sure you use the new email to sign in going forward. Your old email will no longer work for login.
  • If you're in the middle of a transaction, let your Opendoor advisor (Home Sales Advisor) know about any contact info changes. This ensures all transaction-related communications reach you without delay.

Tip: After updating your email, send yourself a password reset to confirm the new email is working properly with your account.
