What is the Key Agent Program?

The Key Agent Program was Opendoor's agent partnership program with Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers. It was retired in May 2026. There is no longer a program to join, no enrollment, and no membership tiers.

What replaced it

Today, any licensed agent earns a bonus from Opendoor just by closing a deal, on top of their normal commission:

• The bonus starts at 1% of the purchase price on your first Opendoor deal of the year and grows 0.25% with each deal, up to 2% from deal five on.
• The rate is the same for everyone. No membership, no certification, no minimum volume.
• Your deal count resets every January.
• Everything is paid through escrow at closing, as a line item on the settlement statement.

If you were enrolled in Key Agent

No action needed. Your tier status no longer applies; you earn the current bonus automatically on every qualifying deal you close, like every other licensed agent.
