What is the Key Agent Program?

The Key Agent Program is Opendoor's agent partnership program, launched in June 2025. It replaced the previous Agent Access program with a new tiered structure designed to reward agents who consistently work with Opendoor.

How it works

Agents in the Key Agent Program earn 1% commission on qualifying Opendoor selling transactions. The program is organized into three tiers based on your transaction volume with Opendoor:

• Silver — Entry-level tier. All enrolled agents start here and receive baseline program benefits.
• Gold — Mid-tier. Agents who reach a higher transaction volume unlock additional perks, including priority support and enhanced marketing tools.
• Platinum — Top tier. The highest-volume agents receive the full suite of benefits, including early access to listings, dedicated support, and premium marketing resources.

Your tier is determined by your transaction history with Opendoor. As you close more transactions, you move up to higher tiers with greater rewards.

Eligibility

Eligible transactions must meet all of the following requirements:

• Refer a seller to be eligible for 1% referral fee if there wasn't a previous Opendoor referral or offer request in the last 180 days.
• Represent your seller client to earn 1% from Opendoor on top of any seller commission.
• You must include your email address and MLS ID.
• You must have an active license in good standing.
• The transaction must close — payments will be made at closing. Homes actively listed on the MLS within the previous 30 days and agent-owned homes are not eligible.
• You must be attributed to the relevant transaction in Opendoor's system before the final cash offer that is accepted by the seller is active.
• Your transaction count resets each calendar year.
• Opendoor purchases and sales as part of the Cash Plus program are not eligible transactions.

How to join

1. Sign up through the Opendoor agent portal at opendoor.com.
2. Verify your license — all licensed real estate agents are eligible to participate.
3. Complete your profile with your brokerage and contact details.
4. Start transacting — your tier will be assigned based on your transaction history.

If you were previously enrolled in the Agent Access program, your account transitioned to the Key Agent Program automatically in June 2025.
