When you sell directly to Opendoor you can choose your close date, with some limitations.
Selling to Opendoor
All customers are able to close up to 60 days after their contract date. You can change your closing date within that 60-day period as many times as you'd like, free of charge.
Representing a client
Agents requesting an offer on behalf of their client can choose a close date up to 90 days after the contract date. You can move that closing date within that 90-day period as many times as you'd like, free of charge.
Selling to Opendoor and buying from a builder partner
If you’re selling to Opendoor and buying from one of our homebuilder partners, you’re eligible for an extended closing timeline of up to 270 days. Once you sign your offer, you can choose any closing date within 90 days for free. If you need more than 90 days, there may be an additional fee deducted from your proceeds.
