If you decide not to sell your home, we ask that you contact the utility provider and notify them that ownership of your property will not be changing hands. You can work with them to cancel any disconnection and avoid an interruption of service.
If utilities get transferred to Opendoor prematurely we’ll email you letting you know. You’ll have to contact the utility company to transfer the utilities back into your name. We will wait 3 days and then contact the service provider to confirm the transfer.
