I declined but want to reconsider — can I reopen my offer?

If you declined your Opendoor offer or let it expire, you may still be able to get a new one. Contact Opendoor support and we will let you know what options are available for your home.

How to request a new offer

  1. Log in at www.opendoor.com and select your property address in the top right-hand corner drop-down — you will be prompted to refresh your offer if it has expired.
  2. Our team will review your situation. In many cases, we can generate a new offer for your home.
  3. If a new offer is available, it will appear on your dashboard at opendoor.com for you to review.

My agent listed my home on the MLS

If your home is listed by an agent on the MLS, your agent will need to request a new offer at www.opendoor.com/agents.

Will my new offer be the same amount?

Not necessarily. Your new offer will be based on current market conditions, recent comparable sales, and any changes to your home or the surrounding area since your original offer. The amount may be higher or lower than what you were originally offered.

Important: The more time that has passed since your original offer, the more likely the new amount will differ. Market conditions can shift quickly.

What if my offer expired?

The same process applies. Whether you actively declined or simply let the deadline pass, reach out to support and we will help you explore your options. See our article on expired offers for more details on why offers expire.
