I'm an agent — how do I work with Opendoor?
Opendoor partners with real estate agents on both the buying and selling side. Whether you're representing a buyer looking at Opendoor-owned homes or a seller who wants real offers on the table, there's a clear path to working together.
Selling side
Bring your seller client to Opendoor and put two real offers on the table: a Cash Offer, and Cash Now, More Later (cash up front plus a potential second payment when the renovated home resells, with you as the listing agent).
Enter your client's address at opendoor.com/agents — it takes minutes, with no membership or enrollment. You stay the agent on the deal, you keep your full commission, and Opendoor pays a bonus on top that grows with each deal you close in the year.

Buying side
Bring your buyer clients to tour and purchase Opendoor homes. Opendoor offers buyer agent compensation on most listings, with the amount varying by market.
To represent a buyer on an Opendoor home, submit an offer through the agent portal or through your MLS. Your buyer can also start the process on opendoor.com and add you as their agent.
The agent bonus
The Key Agent Program (Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers) was retired in May 2026. Today any licensed agent earns a bonus from Opendoor on sell-side deals just by closing: it starts at 1% of the purchase price and grows with each deal, up to 2%, with no membership or certification. See What is the Key Agent Program? for what changed and How and when do I get paid? for the full details.
Your client's experience
Your buyer clients can tour Opendoor homes independently using the app — you do not need to be present for every showing. As long as you are registered as their agent, you will receive credit when they submit an offer. Learn more about client self-tours.
If your buyer client needs to back out of a deal, the Opendoor Guarantee allows cancellation anytime before closing. See what happens if my buyer client needs to cancel for details on earnest money and contingencies.
